Federal Skilled Trades

The Federal Technical Expertise Program was launched due to the shortage of technical expertise in some occupations and professions to address the shortage of technical expertise in some areas and professions. The minimum requirements for immigration to Canada through the Express Trade Canada Entry Visa application program are:

  • Achieve a minimum score of CLB 5 in listening and speaking skills and CLB 4 in writing and reading skills in English or French.

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
